Hi,
Would like to set up a deco M5 with the archer VR1600v as a bridge mode. Does this work? I have searched and it's usually with FTTC and FTTP.
If it's compatible, does anyone have any guide?
I am assuming first I need to set the Archer to bridge mode?
Then setting up the deco M5 as the router with these configuration?
Enable IPTV/VLAN
ISP Profile - Custom (not "Australia-TPG Network")
VLAN ID 2
VLAN Priority 0
802.1Q Tag - Check
NBN Username Your TPG Username
NBN Password Your TPG Password
Encapsulation PPPoE
Authentication Method PAP
Hi @kagenx24 . Read this:
Basically, delete the VLAN 2 connection and add a new VLAN 2 connection in Bridge mode.
The Deco will be in standard mode with PPPoE, username and password (no IPTV/VLAN stuff).
Hi @kagenx24
We can't guarantee that it will work, but you may try.
You may also consider setting the Deco as an access point only.
Let us know how it goes.

I want the router mode feature for the M5.

Thanks @david64.
All working, all I had to do was delete the PTM Internet connection and add the new one as Bridge with Vlan 2. Then setup the Deco M5 with the TPG username and password and it connected. Then just disable the WAP on the router.
