TP Link Archer vr1600v overheating and plastic turning yellow

Hi, my modem is having the exact same problem. It gets very hot and is turning a yellow colour up the top. 
We are also experiencing very slow speeds. What options do I have to replace my modem? Please solve it quickly.

I'm having the same problem. Modem is overheating, turning yellow, 2.4ghz band extremely slow and resetting itself several times a day causing my security cameras to drop out. Can somebody please contact me to sort it out?
