You can push firmware to my modern that has VoIP exposed. This problem has nothing to do with bandwidth. I'm getting 100mbs + speed and no active IP traffic while testing incoming DTMF. I will check the sys log for tone message and report.

Telephony menu is not accessible in modem. You need to give this access from network side so that I can play with telephony settings.

I guess it was always there...Incoming DTMF doesn't work. Outgoing I belive does. Firmware Version:0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 220518 Rel.32480n Hardware Version:Archer VR1600v v1.0 00000000 This issue has been previously reported by others as given in the link in original post. No definate solution was found I belive except to I guess remapping some kind of routing in the network and I am not sure it actually worked for others.

May be it was always there as I don't use incoming DTMF often. I posted call time for reference only.. Further details I will provide shortly as I have to check from another device. This device is now on 4g as NBN is down. However I believe current outage has nothing to do with DTMF issue.

If you have mobile and internet account with TPG and you are trying to log into your mobile account with internet account credentials. It won't work and it won't tell you reason and what to do, except an error " Something happend... You need to login to mobile account with your primary mobile number if you have multiple numbers. Internet account password too won't work. If you never logged to mobile account before there is no link how to register for mobile account. You can try " Forgot your password... But Forget password link is not working due to some issue with security.." This site can't provide secure connection... some how I got forgot password link working and manged to create mobile account pwd.

No. Tried logging with old customer id, new customer id, username, mobile number...incidentally I have few in the account . I tried with one of the mobile number. It will do exactly same as what I reported. I think it didn't even log to old site with new customer id. Trying clearing cookies etc... didn't work. Will try again but doesn't looks like it is working...all I can log in to is original account page.

I login to original page and click to login to new one. It sorts of login to new page with a error " something went wrong taking back to ...." and fails. I need to top up one of my mobile data and for last 2 days I can't do it...it is so frustrating.

I have always had good customer service and no outage in last 10yrs. Today is the worst experience for both. NBN is down for more than a day and I am forced to use mobile data to work from home. It is about 5GB/day. I know I can make paid topup online and for that I don't need to call customer service. I called customer service for free data..I explain what I need. They waste my time with security verfication and account checking and tell me they can do paid topup something that I can anway know and don't have to waste my time with customer service. So broadband customer service puts me to mobile serrvice and says they may be able to help. The nighmare repeats he does secquirty check and account check and says same and he puts me to another customer service.... 2hrs and I am put in circle with 10 forwards. Finally someone says we can to a paid topup that will be reiembersed later by NBN however to get reiembersement the top up has to be done by NBN team so I am sent back to NBN team. And now call drops... Can the moderators please help...I got few mobiles on the account but only one is used for WFH and i only need that one topped up...I am running out of data and WFH consumes about 5GB a day...NBN is down for more than a day and no indication of fix time.

TPG modem Archer VR1600v has provision for mobile USB dongle backup, though not sure if it works, can some one confirm? Also which mobile USB dongle TPG will recomend. I will request TPG to bring out special PAYG backup deals exclusive to NBN customers. 1 sim per NBN account at reasonable data cost. Currently the PAYG sim TPG offers comes to be about $100 for 1GB data. This is about 10 times dearer compared to standard plans, makes it simply unaffordable.

So my moden has recently started loosing 2.4G. It comes back when I boot. 5.6 G is OK Has happend about 3 times in this week. Never had such issue before. I have a feeling that it is a matter of time before 2.4G is dead. Looking at this forum and googling...I can see others too had similar issues and needed a new modem. FW version V100R001C216B113

So I noticed in hg659 menu you can configure a umts wan connection. Can this setup 3g backup by sticking a mobile USB modem? How to add internet backup?

I have some devices for example printer that were not working well DHCP I guess because of sleep mode. Rendering these devices invisible in network. I moved these to static IP this definately improved connectivity but devices still got dropped. The IP add were still with in the range of DHCP ip. HG659 allows to reserve ips in this range for static allocation. Next I moved these static IP out side modem DHCP range. Hoping that DHCP still interferes. I am not sure the sitution improved much. HG659 still looses connection with static IPs unless I reset modem again. The connection last only 2~3 days. Does it has something to fo with DHCP lease time etc?? When the connection is lost following happens- a) Wifi printer goes invisible b) device Wifi extender that has its own new SSID and static IP can be seen by wifi clients but looses internet connectivty. I reset HG659 and again all starts working for 2 to 3 days. So I have to reset modem all the time. My wifi extender is RE210..is it some to do with clinet vs bridge mode etc?? The extender connects to modem at 2.4G and extended it to 5.6G. So I have 3 wifi zones HG659_24, HG659_56, RE210_56 Any solution to keep all working with out this nusisance?
