Long time TPG customer since the day's of ADSL, now on a FTTC NBN connection, I see no reason to leave but many have asked and you keep dodging the question. I want to take advantage of the free upgrade NBN are offering to a FTTP connection, which my address qualifies for, with the understanding i would need to pay for a faster plan. Forget are you going to, or when are you going to, as your not listed on the NBN website as one of the providers providing this service. Unless you have some new information I will be sad and it will be time to leave.

You do not need my details. NBN the provider and other ISP's have confirmed I live in an area entitled to a free fibre upgrade and are willing to provide it, My question remains do TPG intend to provide the same or continue to dodge the question.

I am in an area that allows me to upgrade my FTTC connection freely to a fibre connection. TPG promised a while back that they would be offering this product and the plans to go with the upgrade. I cant find any further information from TPG. Do i now need to jump ship to the likes of Aussie Broadband or others who are actually offering the upgrade and plans or are TPG actually going to deliver?

Thank for you taking the time to reply. I fixed it, and i hope this can help others. It was a QoS issue. It sets the QoS bandwith levels off the first speedtest you perform. I quit halfway through my first test because i had forgotten another setting so it set them ridiculously low. You cant turn QoS off on a AC4000 router but what you can do is manually intervene from the advanced tab and set the up and down speeds to match your NBN plan. Save and reboot the router, job done, running at full speed again!

Hi all, I have followed the install TPG instructions kindly provided here: TPG guide to install 3rd Party Router TP-Link Archer 4000C which do not actually work because you need to do this to actually connect: IInet Guide , turn on IPTV . I am now connected FTTC but at a horribly unusable low speed and on the PC and Laptop i am getting "DNS server not available errors" on every web page. My Android phone connects but is unusable. I have tried flushing the DNS and resetting the TCP/IP stack but that is as far as my technical knowledge goes. If anyone has any ideas how to fix this i would be very grateful. Thank You.

his cant be right surely? Third night in a row I have gone from this at 4pm: http://tpg.speedtestcustom.com/result/2d7d1260-a075-11e9-9efd-430b048b3d2 Same as the last 2 nights at 1900 the slowdown begins: http://tpg.speedtestcustom.com/result/eed544c0-a09b-11e9-be5a-39423b027d85 If it does what it has done the last two nights, the ping will climb and the speed will slow to slightly under 20. Around half past 11 tonight it will start speeding up again. Nothing changed on my network between these 2 tests. I have since reset the TCP/IP, flushed the DNS and double checked every setting is correct to no avail. Given it can produce a rocksteady download of 95 during the day, but not in the evening the problem is highly unlikely to be at my end. Couldn you please advise what the actual attainable speed of my line is and my distance to the curb, because something is clearly not right.

Great during the day 98 all day long, but I went as low as 15mbps on a hundred plan last night and tonight. Please look at my line.

Hi I upgraded to FTTC NBN from my ADSL2 and was informed vis e-mail that a NCD and Modem would be sent out and instructions on how to connect them when they arrived. About 6 hours ago the Modem and NCD were delivered and as instructed I connected them up. Synced very quickly and I have to say i was blown away by the speed of the connection. Very impressed, well done TPG. BUT 10 minutes ago you sent me a text message saying i need to connect my NBN modem or i may suffer service disruptions! It is connected trust me, and it's working great. What do you advise??

Hi I was advised via email yesterday that my modem and NCD had been released to the courier for a delivery today. The tracker shows that that the courier does NOT have the parcel. Could you please inform me of what is going on as this is the second misleading email I have had. Thanks

So your telling me i may have to wait up to 30 days for my connection, why? You have taken money out of my account to pay for shipping, now you want me to wait until your prepared to deliver which could take up to 30 days. If NBN have not released my property to you why have you taken money out of my account?

Hi, Live in Canberra and am an exsisting ADSL customour. NBN FTTC has finnaly arrived and I pre ordered and am now at Service Class 33, Serviceable by FTTC, cut-in complete (NCD required), just wondering how long after my payment of $10 clears for the modem, i should expect to wait? I ask because we live about as far from the exchange as you can get, so not TPG's fault but keen to upgrade lol. Many Thanks for any info.
