Get online support
Hi,
I have a TPG/NBN broadband and home phone bundle subscription that includes the extra $10 per month for unlimited phone calls. Whenever I try to ring a "13" number I get an engaged signal. why is this happening? I have no trouble ringing those numbers on my mobile phone, but when I am home I prefer to use the home phone - that's what I'm paying for.
Thanks,
RMS1
Hey @RMS1, we'll find out what's happening with your calls to 13 numbers.
Send me a PM here and we'll take a look.
Hi @RMS1 . The "unlimited phone calls" excludes 13/1300 numbers. You need to make a prepayment for excluded calls. Unlike the mobile plans where they are included.
Thanks - I did not realise that. To be able to ring the "13/1300" numbers is it a regular monthly pre-payment or a fixed fee which will last until it runs out? I rarely need to use the phone for these numbers, so a monthly fee is mainly a waste of money.
By the way,I thought my setting for these postings was enabled to receive emails when a reply is posted, but this hasn't happened. I have just logged in to find two responses waiting to be read. I have ticked the relevant box again.

That function is not working at the moment. Mods are awaiting advice from the software suppliers
OK - thanks.
@RMS1 . The prepayment lasts until it is used up. You make prepayment via MyAccount. The rules will be in the NBN bundles section in tpg.com.au.
The email notification stopped working late August. I don't think the software company has the knowledge or knows where to look.
Thanks. My monthly payment is automatically made. Looks like I need to log in to my account and add an extra amount to cover the "13/1300" calls.
