I have an ongoing issue where my TP-LINK VX220-G2v modem provided by TPG could not connect some of my devices over Wifi.
When this happens, I have to restart the modem.
I have a friend who has the same modem and experiencing similar issues.
Hi @Anonymous
Connection has been stable since the modem reset. But then again, it worked like a charm for the first few days when I got it last week then it started playing up. I'll keep an eye for the next few days and let you know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi @sarcorpuz
The devices that were disconnected to the WiFi, are they connected to the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band network?
Aside from rebooting the device, what other troubleshooting have you tried so far?

Not sure. I have configured my modem for band steering. 2.4GHz and 5GHz have the same SSID and same password. Hence, my devices connects to either.

I have tried reserving an IP Address to the devices that normally having issues not connecting via their mac address. It does not help with the issue. But a restart of the modem fixes the issue of devices unable to connect.

I also have the same exact issue. Has a solution been found for this?
Hi @RichoMan
If you are experiencing WiFi issues, it is possible that signal interference is causing it.

I doubt the issue is signal interference related. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the VX220-G2v router that I have been provided as a replacement. My old Archer VR1600 worked flawlessly for 5 years until it was replaced with a VX220-G2v unit.
