Hi @manu5555 . With FTTP, the VOIP home phone, if you use one, connects to the FTTP NBN box, so there is no need to use the TPG-supplied VX220. This unit might lack certain functions that you would expect to be there (removed by TPG when they modify the firmware), or certain functions may not work as expected. There is no user manual. The Eero is configured by an app so no user manual either. You can check the manufacturer website for each device for a description of their capabilities. I would expect the Eero to perform better then the VX220. If you have one of these units, connect it up and see how it goes.

THanks for your help. FYI if any one land here in this page, This bloddy router cannot be used as an extender/repeater, as this is a modem router. We need a router only to work it as an extender/repeater. So dont waster yoru time, fixing it or make it work without ethernet. All the best. Thanks TPG for your help. Cheers

Hi @manu5555 . Do these commands when you are not using the VPN and Outlook is connected. ping mail.tpg.com.au tracert mail.tpg.com.au Do the same commands when you are logged in to office VPN. Post the results back here.

well mine is 0.1.00.9.1 v5006.0 Build190228 rel722654. This is biazzare for e the third largest nbn provider to be doing one at a time pushes of firmware updates. It realy is starting to look like a company that has good bandwith and pricing but designed for retirees who jus tplug wha tthey get in and let it run. If there isn't an update I can't understnad why every evening at aroung 7pm my speed drops from around 90 to 50 and I have to always reboot and it goes back. It is clearly glitchy firmware. Other TP lInk routers you can go to TP link site and get updates and actually really good support, but because TPG want to hide their Voip parameters this router is locked to to what TPG gives you. I'd like to know why TPG still use VLan ID tagging and even a log in for that matter when most ISP s don't anymore if yoy have an NBN termination device. Is it just so they can mail everyone the same router (modem) and then make it impossible for you to get any alternative. That is actually in breach of the Trade PRactices Act (third line forcing) refusing to help you or making it as hard as anything ot buy a competitor router.

Have you guys pushed the latest firmware to my modem. Please push it asap and advice what should be done from my side to get it updated. You mean there is no need to download and install physically on to the device and you can do it from your end ? Please advice.
