I havn't seen the software interface on that model, all the previous TP-Link modems give access to that setting, it's a new model and there isn't a firmware emulator for it yet that I can find.   One thing you could try is a reset on it and then wait for it to auto configure via the TPG acs server, that way it will definitly load the proper profile for your plan. Hi @fildeps this may just be a leftover setting from your previous speed tier, log into your modem router, go to advanced and then bandwidth control, check what value the 'Total Upstream Bandwidth' is set to, change it to 19500 and make sure you click save, reboot the modem to invoke the change and try another speed test. ... Hi @Hunter12 You may have to wait up to 6 hrs max for the auto configuration server to register your device, usually quicker but that depends on what time it started polling for a response, for example the 'acs' may activate services at 10:00 and again at 16:00 so 6hr intervals. Hi @Doggaveli , the bandwidth control is actually there to stop overrun errors on the NBN network which will cause retransmission of the upload data packets and increase latency. By having a limiter with a safe headroom margin it virtually eliminates upload errors as it only has to transmit the data once.   By removing the limit any overrun will need to transmit the incomplete packets multiple times until they are delivered error free. It's simply applied for your benefit nothing else. Even set at 20000 will produce errors that's why a safety margin is used, so 19200 is the placebo point. ... View more

The result of your speedtest is typical, you should be using an Ethernet connection for the most accurate result. Even the browser used can account for a 0.2 Mbps difference, for example at that speed Firefox on a Windows 10 PC will usually report 200 Kbps lower speed than Edge Chromium on the same PC. ... Hi @Lasa It's possible that the windows disc manager isn't seeing any hidden partitions, windows will only display partitions that it can use, some brands of backup devices have disc and firmware recovery tools and power managment code that resides on additional sometimes proprietory partitions.   A partioning tool such as Linux based parted magic will be able to see the whole story but you'll need to boot the PC from a bootable USB drive first and run the app from there.   In addition there's also a chance that the disc controller chip used is too new for the HG659 to recognise as it's not on it's Hardware Compatibilty List in it's own firmware. ... Hi @cmc2013 If the VR1600v was supplied by TPG as part of an NBN bundle it will have an autoconfiguration setting built in, all you need to do is reset it via the reset switch on the back and plug it in and wait for it to authenticate.   The Phone Voip settings unique to your account aren't available seperately. ...
