This doesn’t make sense to me. What does this actually mean? Are you saying. Gmail is dirty email? The gmail will repeatedly try to send the message and it keeps getting blocked. This is probably escalating the problems you are ignoring. Fix the filters!! ... View more

Hey. The fact this topic is now up to 9 pages says a lot. TPG can’t possibly expect people to contact them with the email addresses they want to send messages to them? Totally ridiculous. Also the fact TPG is blocking communication of paying customers from gmail accounts has to surely be something the TIO should be aware of? Even if it is in the guise of spam blocking - which it isn’t really. It’s across the board blocking. Gmail will try to resend the blocked messages and this has to be contributing to the TPG filters reaction. I’ve asked if this was a possibility and have not had a response in reference to this question. Since I posted this response I’ve had more reply emails that gmail Will continue to try to send my messages to my friends and colleagues. How about dealing with this problem instead of saying. So all other email services are happily receiving emails from gmail. Has TPG managed to sort out a work around yet? It’s really bad people are not getting information sent to them. It’s bad a google groups email can’t get to club members. Individual emails are not going through either and we get this bounce back response - photo attached . The auto retry by gmail is likely causing more of a response from the spam blockers so are we now in a total Catch 22 with this? This is exactly what I’m talking about. I’ve previously contacted the postmaster and provided information and it went no where. We got our club members to check filters - which they also had never changed in their whole time being with TPG , and there was nothing to change and this solved nothing. The issue is gmail is under a blanket block by TPG due to the volume of emails coming from the service (this is what I was told when I enquired to the postmaster)- people are not getting their information. Now I ask if the TIO should be informed as this blocking paying customer’s information from reaching them. Hi. So you’re aware this issue has never been fixed. We have had our club members, who are tpg customers miss important information from the club gmail address. They’ve tried all sorts of things. The postmaster replies with a stock standard answer and tpg have done nothing to fix the issue with gmail being blocked. Get with the century and sort it out. Hi I believe TPG do monitor this forum. They do seem selective with who they respond to. I had a DM from Basil on this thread last week. Go for it with the TIO !! Hi Such a shame you’re still having issues. We are currently able to email TPG addresses (see how long this lasts) When we transitioned to gmail from tpg emails (we were customers for 15+ years) I put an auto reply and auto forward via the webmail log on (from memory) that redirected the emails and also replied to senders with the new address. We kept the tpg only email for 24 months and we had a pretty good transition. We moved to Aussie BB for fixed wireless nbn and decided gmail was better than being tied to an ISP for emails. Fixed wireless is not terrific for speeds but AussieBB is awesome for service. so now we’re looking at Starlink. Good luck. ... View more

@BasilDV I’m no longer with TPG. The customer service drove us to Aussie BB!!! I have some club members who are with tpg and gmail messages are not getting to them. As this is affecting so many people surely looking at individual accounts won’t help. Hi, No resolutions have been offered, just a reply from the postmaster@tpg.com.au that gmail is apparently sending too much "spam" so they consider all gmail to be 'dirty' emails and so they are getting scrapped somewhere. I'm annoyed that they are not sorting out their filters or notifying the receivers of these emails to check their webmail spam for legitimate messages. I have a number of important emails to club members floating around in cyberspace because TPG deems them 'dirty' emails. These messages are from both our club google group and also from my own gmail address. Now I'm trying to find an alternative. TeamApp or Microsoft Teams or something easy for our older members to be able to cope with. TPG is rubbish and needs to step up and fix this mess. ... View more

hi I finally got onto Accounts and billing (after requesting a call back). I have had to email xxxxxxxx@tpg.com.au  I can't understand why this email address is not on your webpage for people to access. I have sent the email requesting to close the account and await to see what happens next. I have had a lot of spam and other rubbish coming in via this account. I have blocked some but got sick of trying to keep up with it all. We have moved on to gmail for it's convenience.
