I am wondering what is going on with fixing my landline phone. I haven't heard anything from TPG since 17th Oct. In account -> TPG FTTB Phone Service it says it is active.  When I try to ring out, it dials then I get a continuous tone. Today the technician came & did setup. Got new Adtran GFast 422G CPE modem. I was using ArcherVR1600v for FTTB100. Can I still use Archer for the new plan or do I have to use the new modem? If I have to use the new modem what settings do I need to connect with Archer? Bridge? There is nothing about this in your setup guides. When I connect phone cable to Adtran gfast stops flashing but can't do anything. When phone cable is plugged into dsl on Archer I get nothing. The 5GHz WIFI stopped working so I did a reset & then discovered I can't make or receive calls. I have dial tone but when I try to make a call, it dials then I hear a long continuous beeping sound. The phone light is off on the modem/router. This happened last time I did a reset.  Note to self NO MORE RESETS!!! Internet & WIFI are working.   Also who do I ask to get the phone plug/socket replaced & wires checked TPG or Telstra? I still have the old wide plug & would like a new one put in.   Apparently TPG FTTB got a speed increase? But I am still on the old speed. When someone rings me & they are talking the line is crackling loudly. This happens on & off.  Sometimes the call disconnects for no reason. The disconnections is a new thing. This is not the first time I've had problems with the phone line. Isolating does nothing.  I also think I need a new phone socket.
